FEATURED: COMBUSTION ENGINE BESPOKE BUILDS

Combustion engine bespoke builds are the heart of Jo’s Garage, where we proudly showcase some standout creations tailored for performance, style, and an unforgettable driving experience.

Godzilla Daytona Coupe

At Jo’s Garage, we proudly completed the first Daytona Coupe featuring a powerhouse Godzilla 7.3L, 445 cubic inch V8 engine. With an 8-stack intake manifold and a 6-speed manual transmission, this beastly engine delivers 603 horsepower and 589 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. To perfect the fit, finish, performance, and drivability, we designed and machined billet aluminum valve covers and crafted a custom set of headers for installation. The exhilarating driving experience extends beyond the engine, thanks to a surround-sound audio system seamlessly integrated through a period-correct head unit. This exceptional Daytona not only looks stunning but also provides a thrilling drive, combining classic aesthetics with modern performance enhancements.

Automatic GT40 for Indonesia

We transformed this MKII GT40 into one of the easiest-driving, most comfortable models on the road. By adding an automatic transaxle and a tuneable power steering system, we created a GT40 that maintains driver engagement without requiring a clutch pedal. Though an automatic in a GT40 may seem unconventional, we included manual gear selection to deliver an authentic experience for those unable to drive a traditional three-pedal car due to health, experience, or injury. Under the hood, a classic Roush small block 427 roars through an 8-stack fuel-injected intake and the iconic “bundle of snakes” exhaust. Custom touches continue inside, with branded gauges, a unique shift knob, and yellow 5-point harnesses requested by the customer. Larger wheels with low-profile tires add a modern twist, making this GT40 both accessible and thrilling, ready to deliver unforgettable drives—even for enthusiasts in Indonesia.

Classic GT40 with Modern Tech

At Jo’s Garage, we enhanced this MKI GT40 with a small block 427 engine and a 5-speed manual transaxle, along with modern features to improve street drivability and safety. Our integrated power steering system reduces heavy steering at low speeds, then automatically adjusts at higher speeds to retain optimal steering feel. We also replaced the traditional rearview mirror with a dual-purpose screen that displays camera feeds when active and functions as a mirror when off. With cameras on both sides, activated by the turn signals, and additional cameras at the front and rear, the driver gains full visibility for maneuvering and eliminating blind spots. The rear camera engages automatically when in reverse or can be turned on manually, while a front camera helps prevent nose scrapes on obstacles. A nose lift system further protects the car’s front by raising the suspension at the push of a button. These thoughtful upgrades keep the classic GT40 aesthetics while enhancing usability and protection for everyday driving.

8 Stack Coyote Cobra

High-revving Coyote 5.0 power doesn’t have to look like it was simply lifted from a Mustang and wedged into a Cobra. By removing the factory plastic intake manifold, we created space for an 8-stack, individual throttle body intake atop this modern engine. Powered by a Motec ECU, this MKIII Cobra delivers up to 7,000 rpm for thrilling performance, while maintaining smooth drivability at lower speeds. At a low rpm, the Gen 3 Coyote produces a rich growl through its side pipes; downshift the 5-speed manual, and it unleashes an exhilarating roar as it nears redline. To streamline the Gen 3 Coyote’s wiring, direct injection, and ignition coils, we crafted custom coil covers with a Coyote emblem, leaving no doubt about the powerhouse under the hood. Inside, a billet aluminum shifter with a matching white pinstripe ties into the car’s exterior, ensuring this MKIII Cobra delivers style and performance from idle to redline.
